Avenue of the Arts Live, which ran from Sept. 17 to Dec. 31 was a smashing success! The series featured a wide variety of performers on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with two performances a night, 6-8pm and 8-10pm, on the sidewalks in front of the Kimmel Center, the Wilma Theater and the Miller Theater.
Avenue of the Arts, Inc. extends a huge THANK YOU to our host venues and to all the performers who entertained us for three and a half months. The incredible roster of musicians, rappers, dancers, jugglers, poets, and even some roller skaters brought an energy and excitement to South Broad Street befitting Philadelphia’s grand boulevard. It was a beautiful reflection of the rich arts & culture scene in Philadelphia, and we were proud to bring it to the residents of and visitors to our great street!
