Volunteering at the Philadelphia Flower Show is a fun way to support PHS and your community! Whether it’s greeting guests upon arrival, or ensuring guests have the information they need to make the most of their Show experience, PHS volunteers have always played an important role in the Philadelphia Flower Show. No previous experience is necessary – they give you the training you need.

And don’t forget — when you volunteer at the Flower Show, you are welcome to explore the entire Show before or after your shift for FREE!

Here are some of the ways you can volunteer:

Points and Computer Support: Help in the Typing Booth (Trailer) pre-show or during Horticulture entry times. You will be helping to correct exhibitor cards, print new/corrected exhibitor cards and input data and other information on FSDB (Flower Show Database). These positions require attention to detail by accurately and efficiently preparing data and also must be proficient with using Microsoft Word and comfortable learning FSDB. These positions are seated. http://points-computer.phs.volunteerhub.com

Welcome Team: These volunteers play a critical role in helping guests as they arrive at the Show: welcoming guests and providing information as they arrive at parking lots, by foot, or by shuttle. We have MANY shifts available, so whether you are a morning, afternoon, or late afternoon person, please consider signing up for multiple shifts. http://welcometeam.phs.volunteerhub.com

Show Ambassadors: These volunteers will be on their feet, stationed throughout the Show grounds — offering help and assisting guests who have questions. http://showambassador.phs.volunteerhub.com

Bus Greeters: Stationed on Pattison Ave, these volunteers will be greeting tour buses arriving at the Show and ensuring guests know their bus number and departure time. http://busgreeter.phs.volunteerhub.com

Access Ambassadors: Continuing our partnership with Art-Reach, Access Ambassadors ensure guests with disabilities can safely navigate the Show, are made aware of alternate entrance locations for exhibits, and can be directed to quieter spaces. http://accessambassador.phs.volunteerhub.com

Artisan Row: A brand new area where there are four Artisans that are each experts of a different craft. The four different crafts are a Floral Crown, Candle, Botanical Jewelry, or a Fresh Flower Bouquet. Volunteers will assist these Artisan’s to help guests make the crafts for then the guest to purchase after. The starting and ending shifts of this position will also help to set up or clean up. http://artisanrow.phs.volunteerhub.com

Receptacle Ambassador: To support the Philadelphia Flower Show’s commitment to sustainability and waste diversion, Receptacle Ambassador volunteers will be responsible for educating guests on waste diversion by helping them to determine the proper stream for waste. These volunteers will be provided with speaking points and positioned at key areas throughout the Show grounds, providing guests with the proper information on waste diversion as well as general show information when applicable. http://receptacleambassador.phs.volunteerhub.com
