The Friends of the Avenue of the Arts & Philadelphia’s Clef Club of Jazz present an evening of jazz to get your feet tapping and hands clapping! The fun starts at 6:30 with complimentary wine & light fare . A full bar will be available for purchase as well. The reception is free to members of the Friends of the Avenue of the Arts. We are asking for $10 donation to the Clef Club for the concert
Friends of the Avenue of the Arts is a non-profit subset of the Avenue of the Arts, Inc, Both organizations support growth and development along Broad Street.
The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz was founded in 1966 as a resource and haven for black musicians in Philadelphia. The Clef Club has become an important center of education for jazz in the United States, collecting a plethora of jazz relics and oral histories for the benefit of generations of jazz lover.
