SANTA, ARIEL, ELMO, AND FRIENDS FROM PA BALLET’S THE
NUTCRACKER TO HOST BRUNCH AT LOEWS PHILADELPHIA HOTEL TO HELP RAISE TOYS FOR STOCKINGS FOR KIDS CAMPAIGN

 

Santa Claus is coming to town and he is making a stop at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel at 1200 Market Street.

Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy brunch with Santa and his friends at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel all for a good cause. The Loews Philadelphia Hotel and B101 have partnered with the Salvation Army for the Stockings for Kids campaign. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be given to a child in need at the holidays. Toys can be dropped off during the brunch and will be distributed to children for the holiday season.

Santa will welcome Ariel, Elmo, BuzzBee from B101, RINKY from the Blue Cross RiverRink and characters from Pennsylvania Ballet’s The Nutcracker on Saturday December 16, 2006 for a morning of magic and dreams come true. The B 101 B Team will be on site at the brunch with music, games and prizes as well as BuzzBee their mascot. They will also be doing face painting!

Parents are welcome to bring their cameras to capture the memories. Guests of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel Brunch with Santa and Friends are also entitled to a 10 percent discount in parquet and family circle seating for tickets to the December 16, 2006 3p.m. performance of Pennsylvania Ballet’s The Nutcracker nearby at the Academy of Music. Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling 215.893.1999 and mentioning Loews Santa Brunch.

Brunch 11am to 1 pm is $20 for Adults and $15 for children (including tax and gratuity) and includes an adult buffet featuring butternut squash soup, mixed greens, roasted turkey, Yukon roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs with herbs, apple wood smoked bacon, sausage links, asparagus spears and baby carrots and pumpkin and apples pies as well as a holiday cookie display. The kids will feast on fruit cocktail, scrambled eggs with cheese, peanut butter and jelly triangles, macaroni and cheese, ham and cheese roll ups, turkey and cheese roll ups, chicken tenders with dipping sauce, giant chocolate chip cookies, gingerbread cookies and chocolate brownies.
